Are you eager to dive into strength-based practices and explore equity in schools while engaging with fellow school psychologists this Fall?

Join us for the GASP Diversity and Social Justice (DSJ) Committee’s weekly virtual book club! Starting October 9th through December 11th, 2024, we will meet every Wednesday from 12 PM to 1 PM for discussions and deep dives.

The purpose of the book club is to create a space that will promote equitable practices and engage school psychologists in thoughtful conversations on diversity and social justice issues.

We will explore the book “Hacking Deficit Thinking: 8 Reframes That Will Change The Way You Think About Strength-Based Practices and Equity In Schools (Hack Learning Series) by Byron McClure and Kelsie Reed.  This book club is open to anyone who wants to join the discussion!

If you have any questions, email the GASP Diversity and Social Justice Chair, Kassandra Dixon.
