School violence resources

What is School Violence?

School violence is any violent act that occurs in a school setting or during school-related activities, and that disrupts learning and negatively impacts students, schools, and the community.

GASP has created a response to the violent event that occurred at Apalachee High School in Barrow County, GA. Rachel Greenlee, GASP President, also wrote a letter to members about this event. Our hearts are with all of those affected by this tragedy.

NASP has created resources to help families and educators talk to children about violence. These are linked here.
